Anglo-Burmese Hour

The Anglo-Burmese are a minority ethnic community from Burma (now called Myanmar) with its own cultural heritage and an innate cultural affinity with all things European (in dress, religion and social customs)

The inaugural radio program was launched on 18th March 2009 and broadcast every Wednesday from 3.30 to 4.30 pm but later changed to Sunday from 5.30 to 6.30 pm. with music for listening pleasure.
Besides music, latest Burma news, request for special occasions such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries, etc., community announcements and information on important issues that are beneficial to the community. Advertisements of the businesses of the sponsors of the Anglo-Burmese Hour Community Radio are also provided in the one hour program.

The team that run the radio are dedicated community minded volunteers with a passion for music.
