My name is Ludvik Jedla and I came to Australia from communist Czechoslovakia in 1980 with my family, my wife Marcela and our two children. A few years went by and a few of us got together and decided to put together the club's first band. It was after this that I had an idea to begin a radio program. I started out without any knowledge of radio reporting or financial support and my radio program continues until today. Radio programming started 4 July 2005. Today the program runs for 1 hour from 16:30 to 17:30 WST (Western Australian time) on 95.3 FM on website www.6eba.com.au. You can listen live on the 6EBA website or on my website www.radiovysilaperth.com. Each program is a little different, and often with some welcome help from my wife and my good friends, for which I am very grateful. I aim to fill my program with songs, readings and humour . So now, please enjoy the recordings.

The radio program is auspiced by member group, Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre Inc. and produced by Zel Ischel who works at the Centre as a Systemic Advocacy and Projects Officer. The program panel operator is Sanja Vuksanovic. Producer Zel is very pro-active and as well as being blind herself heads up a team of keen enthusiasts who bring their guests to the station every week to give advice and information in an effort to help those listeners who may have a disability themselves, or have someone they know or someone in their family with a disability.

Our Programs endeavour to preserve, uphold and acknowledge our ancient Dalmatian history that was acquired and held for centuries. Our music, songs, language, food, customs are trademarks of our identity. We present variety of Dalmatian music (old & new), information from Dalmatia and the local community, cultural events, news, our segments, humour etc. We make ourselves accessible to our listeners via our program in order to bridge barriers between Dalmatians and other communities in Western Australia. Our broadcasting is unbiased and extends to people of other cultures, languages and denominations. OUR VISION: We hope to grow into a united and prosperous Broadcasting community for the good of all Australians and Dalmatians.

The Sikh Association of Western Australia’s (SAWA) Sikh Sangeet radio program is broadcasted live on 6EBA 95.3FM from 7am to 8am every Thursday morning. The show is presented in Punjabi with an aim to target the local Indian community. Discussing and analysing the latest issues, while also bearing a religious facet, the show is fundamentally an avenue for listeners’ entertainment. Intermingled with anecdotes, upcoming events, prominent local celebrations, interviews, new music and a touch of seriousness, the Sikh Sangeet program tries to satisfy the Perth Indian community’s greater interest. Primarily through the years of hard work and commitment of lone announcer Amrit Pal Singh, the radio show has gained an overwhelming amount of local support since its conception. The Sikh Sangeet radio program now hosts an active team of five members, with an aim to expand in the near future. The team comprises of the three regular hosts namely Amrit Pal Singh, Gurdeep Kaur and Jaskirat Singh. Giani Balbir Singh accommodates the religious aspect of the show, broadcasting live from the Canning Vale Sikh Temple every week and providing the listeners his wisdom, religious translations and any notable upcoming occasion. The team is rounded off by the show’s newest trained member in Santbir Kaur. The program’s prevalent driving factor in the future is to promote the Punjabi language across Perth, as this is the only local Punjabi show.

Mandarin Beats’ motto - Echoing the voices of all Australian Chinese, sharing the stories of all Chinese the world over. It is a primarily Mandarin-speaking program with the occasional English, Hakka and Cantonese language, reflecting the multiculturalism of Australia. Mandarin Beats is proudly sponsored by the Hakka Association of Western Australia in conjunction with Aus World Travel. It aims to bridge the gap between the Australian and Chinese cultures, promote local talents and attract positive global influences to inspire others. The ‘Mandarin Beats’ host – Hui-Lin Tan, is one of the new multilingual generations of young pioneers, who believes in marrying social media platform with the traditional radio world to bring them collectively to another level. She is engaging, humorous and cheeky while interviewing her special guests in ‘Chit-Chat with the Host’ segment. Epitomising a trendy Gen Y with a keen ear for hot tunes, Hui-Lin also covers the latest hits from around the globe in her ‘Latest Hits’ segment. Morris and Daisy Velasquez the program’s producers were born in El Salvador, after a civil war they had to immigrate to Australia in 1990, they started to attend to the church Jesus is the way, which is integrated mainly with Spanish speaking people from all Latino America countries and Spain, and in 1993 they became the Senior Pastor of the church. Soheir Khalil-Kaldas was born in Alexandria-Egypt and she arrived to Perth Western Australia in March 1971, she commenced at 6eba 95.3 FM world radio as a volunteer during 1996 helping the Middle East Program as a console operator/Presenter. Soheir joined Joe Kaldas for the Middle East Program and they have been working together since. After that Soheir has her own program Voice of Egypt on Friday from 1.30PM to 2.30PM.

Swahili Radio was founded by Monga Jacob who works closely with Rachel to make sure Swahili Radio is at its best. Having passion for the African community, we make sure entertainment is packaged in the right way to sooth the listeners ears. Joe Kaldas the program's producer was born in Lebanon and having lived in Egypt for most of his working life spending the last five years working in Morocco packed his bags one day in 1972 and came to Australia. Joe started as a volunteer radio broadcaster in 2002 with the Middle East program which goes to air Saturdays from the Studios of 95.3 World Radio. The program promotes Middle East culture and language and keeps Arabic speaking listeners abreast of a range informative topics. Over the years Joe has interviewed a wide variety of local and overseas guests.

Islam Abduramanoski is the Producer and Presenter of the Romany program, which broadcasts Romany music, news, community announcements in the Romany/Macedonian language. The program has been on air since 1978.

Radio Melayu Perth (Perth Malay Radio),abbreviated as RMP, is a Malay ethnic community radio program broadcasting from World Radio 6EBA 95.3FM – Perth’s only fulltime ethnic radio station with 700,000 listeners in an average month. RMP has been operating for more than 25 years, since its first broadcast on 9 December 1990. It is the media arm of Malay Association of Western Australia (MAWA), a non-profit organisation serving the interest of the Malays living in Western Australia.

The Rhein Donau Club broadcasts every Sunday morning from 11 am - 12 midday for the German community of Perth and surrounds. It started many years ago in the Eighties when the first Moderators transmitted the hour long Program. Then as today, various Volunteers were involved to broadcast the Rhein Donau Club. The club sponsors the program which is also partly subsidised by the Community Broadcasting Foundation.

The Anglo-Burmese are a minority ethnic community from Burma (now called Myanmar) with its own cultural heritage and an innate cultural affinity with all things European (in dress, religion and social customs) Besides music, latest Burma news, request for special occasions such as birthdays, wedding anniversaries, etc., community announcements and information on important issues that are beneficial to the community. Advertisements of the businesses of the sponsors of the Anglo-Burmese Hour Community Radio are also provided in the one hour program.

Today, after many decades of constant broadcasting, our program is listened to every Sunday night by thousands of listeners, not only in Perth, but around Australia, Canada, the United States and Europe via digital radio. Our program is proudly run by a team of four presenters and boasts the only Macedonian youth radio segment in Australia.
